THE GIRLFRIEND GETAWAY The contest begins the morning of April 5th 2010 (the “Contest Starting Date”) and will continue until terminated by Mix 96.7 CHYR FM. |

TO ENTER: To enter the Girlfriend Getaway (“the contest”) listen for the cue to call and following the announcement be the correct caller through to the Mix 96.7 contest line at 519-944-2497. Calls will be solicited three times per day, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 6am-7pm during the contest dates. You can also enter online at www.mix967.ca by becoming a Mix Insider and then entering the online ballot within the designated contest dates but must be at least 18 years of age. Three online entrants will be chosen daily to qualify for the Girlfriend Getaway. These qualifiers will be announced on Mix 96.7 by an on-air personality 3 times per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 6am-7pm and also listed online at www.mix967.ca during the contest dates. The qualifiers will be announced and may be required to talk on-air. Each eligible qualifier will then be required to provide a representative of Mix 96.7 CHYR FM with their name, address and two telephone numbers. Only Mix 96.7 reserves the right to solicit more callers or put the contest on hold. Only calls to the specified phone number can win. The station is not responsible for the inability of a caller to complete the call within specified time, whether due to busy lines, disconnections, telephone malfunctions, online technical errors or other circumstances.
In the event it is determined that a qualifier has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has qualified more than the number permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. |

| PRIZES: | ||||
Up to three Grand Prizes will be awarded of one (1) trip for three (3) females to Chicago Thursday May 6 – Sunday May 9 2010, consisting of:
9 ladies in total. + Men who qualify are entered to win the Secondary Prizes
Travel dates are firm – no extensions allowed. A cancellation will result in the forfeiture of this prize. The winners and travelling companions must travel together by limo. The prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. All requests not adhering to this guideline will not be processed. Additional expenses (such as meals, entertainment, phone calls and other hotel expenses, etc) are the sole responsibility of the winners and guests. Mix 96.7 reserves the right to substitute the hotel with another hotel of equal value, or within the same hotel chain should any unforeseen circumstances occur. Winner cannot contact hotel or transportation provider or prize will be forfeit in full. For hotel information log on to www.hardrockhotelchicago.com. Mix 96.7 cannot provide upgrades on rooms. Participants in the contest must possess valid government issued photo identification, including a valid passport and be at least 18 years old or travelling with a legal guardian. Both the winner and travelling companions must be legal Canadian residents. Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and shall not include any and all other expenses, incidentals or taxes that may arise out of the winner’s receipt of this prize. None of the prizes are transferable or convertible to cash, and each must be accepted as awarded. The prizes may not be sold to, bartered with, or purchased by a third party. |

| Three random draws will be held in April 2010. Tune to Mix 96.7 CHYR FM to find out when. Your chance of winning will depend on the number of eligible qualifiers received during the contest period. All decisions of the judges are final. The final winners will be contacted by phone within 3 business days of their name being drawn, and travelling companions must sign and return (within 2 days of receipt) a declaration and release, including the correct answer to the mathematical skill testing question. You and your travelling companions will be required to produce a government issued photo ID as proof of identification and residency. Anyone found breaking the rules will be disqualified. If the winners and travelling companions do not comply with the Contest Rules and the winners cannot be contacted within 3 business days of the draw, those winners will be declared void and the next drawn entry will be contacted. If the winner cannot use or chooses not to use any portion of the prize, that portion of the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no substitution or other compensation will be awarded. | ||||
| ELEGIBILITY: To be eligible, you must be a legal Canadian citizen and currently reside in Windsor-Essex or Chatham Kent County, Canada and be (18) years of age or older. From the Contest Starting Date to the date of the draws, be legally able to travel to Chicago, and have the ability to travel during the timeframe of the Grand Prize. You are not eligible if, at any point during this time you are (or are immediate family member with) an employee, representative or agent of Blackburn Radio Inc.or their respective parents, partners, affiliates or licensees. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household. | ||||
| LIMITATIONS: All expenses not specifically listed as being part of the Grand Prize are the responsibility of the winner The winner is responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents and insurance are obtained for the winner and by her designated travel companions.
All participants agree to be bound to these rules: Void where prohibited by Canadian law. Ontario is the governing law. RELEASE OF INFORMATION: Participation constitutes permission for Mix 96.7 CHYR FM, Blackburn Radio Inc and other partners in this promotion without any further obligation to the contest winner, to use the winner’s photo, name, likeness, voice, video and address for purposes of advertising or promotion.
HOLD HARMLESS: By accepting the prize, the contest winner agrees to release all sponsoring parties and their parent suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any subcontractors, employees, officers, directors, agents, related corporate entities and representatives (the Releasees) of any of the above organizations, from and against any and all claims for losses, damages or injury, however caused directly or indirectly with the Prize or the contest, or use and acceptance sustained by said winners arising out of participation in the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize. BLACKBURN RADIO INC., reserves the right to reclaim a prize if all terms and conditions are not accepted as written in the “Official Rules and Regulations”. It is further understood that there are certain terms and conditions associated with such Prize that I agree to comply with. Requests must be made within 1 month of the contest end date in order to be fulfilled.
